From platform heels to sporty dad sandals, quite a few footwear trends are popping up this summer. But none are as wearable, comfortable, or affordable as rubber flip-flops. And fashion girls like myself aren’t just wearing them to the beach, but also with everyday ‘fits (no matter how many miles away the nearest body of water may be). The trend had a huge resurgence at Copenhagen Fashion Week in 2018, when everyone showed up in Havaianas flip-flops styled with dresses, denim, and trousers.
