Lovers of Puerto Rican fashionable tradition are mourning the dying of the much-loved musician Héctor “Atabal” Rodríguez, founder and director of the group Atabal. Rodríguez handed away on November 20.
As El Nuevo Día studies, the reason for dying of the composer, producer and percussionist—who, since 1983, aimed to emphasise Afro-Latin American fashionable music via drums along with his group Atabal—is unknown.
Based on Primera Hora, there might be a wake for Rodríguez Medina this Tuesday, November 24, on the Buxeda Funeral Dwelling in Hato Rey (San Juan, Puerto Rico) with precautions resulting from COVID-19.
