Think it’s too late for Pete Davidson to get a refund on those tattoos?
According to multiple celebrity gossip and entertainment news outlets, the comedian and Kim Kardashian have ended their relationship after about nine months of dating.
The stars, who got together in October, haven’t been spending a lot of time together of late due to their hectic careers.
“Part of the reason they split was because of their busy schedules,” an insider told People Magazine on Friday. “They both travel all the time and it was hard.”
A source shared a similar sentiment with E! News.
This outlet, which knows Kim and her family well, reports that Kardashian and Davidson have “a lot of love and respect for each other.”
However, they discovered that the long distance dynamic and their demanding schedules “made it really difficult to maintain a relationship.”
The break-up, meanwhile, took place sometime over the past few days.
Davidson has been spending a bulk of the summer in Australia working on the movie Wizards!.
As for Kim?
She continues to raise four kids — North, Psalm, Chicago and Saint — with her ex Kanye West, as she and the rapper continue to work out the details of their divorce.
“The divorce is moving ahead with Kanye,” another insider told E! News. “They are happily co-parenting.”
Kanye, of course, harassed Davidson for several weeks after news broke that he had started to date the artist’s estranged spouse.
Back when Pete and Kim got together, an insider said both celebrities were very excited to see where things would go.
“Pete has told her he doesn’t want to see anyone else,” an E! source said last fall.
“She is telling some people they aren’t super serious but she isn’t seeing anyone else… She’s trying to not make a big deal about it but is super into him.”
Kardashian and Davidson made their red carpet debut in May at the 2022 MET Gala.
After going public, they made little effort to hide their feelings for each other, both on social media and also on television.
“Babe? Do you want to jump in the shower with me real quick?” Kardashian asked her then-boyfriend in a clip from Hulu’s The Kardashians Season 2, which featured Davidson immediately drop everything he was holding and rush after her.
As one does.
Kardashian, meanwhile, explained in April on Amanda Hirsch’s Not Skinny But Not Fat podcast just how things progressed between the pair.
“When we kissed [m SNL], I was just like, ‘Hmm!’ It was a stage kiss, but it was still like, a little zing.
“It wasn’t anything like a super-crazy feeling. I was just like, ‘Hmm,’ and then I was like:
“‘Wow, I really haven’t kissed anyone else in 10 years, so maybe I’m just like being stupid and it’s just nothing and it’s just a stage kiss.’”
For his part, Davidson made it clear last month that he wants to settle down one day, telling Kevin Hart that having kids is “my dream.”
He added:
“That’s kind of what I’m just preparing for now, is trying to be as good as a dude and develop and get better, so when that happens, it’s just easier.”
Kardashian, of course, filed for divorce from West in February 2021.
A source previously told People that Davidson was “exactly what Kim needed after her divorce,” stating months ago:
“Someone to make her laugh and just have a fun time with.
“The end of her marriage was a very dark time for her and Pete has been the best antidote.”
