A person in Las Vegas was arrested after climbing onto the wing of a departing aircraft.
A person in Las Vegas was arrested, Saturday, after efficiently climbing onto the wing of an airplane because it was making ready to depart from McCarran Worldwide Airport.

The incident occurred round 2:00 PM on Flight 1367 from Las Vegas to Portland. The pilot seen the person coming in the direction of the aircraft and notified safety. Passengers recorded on their telephones from contained in the aircraft as the person then climbed the wing of the aircraft.
After taking off his socks and sneakers, the person slips from the wing and falls to the tarmac. Officers took the person into custody and he was taken to a medical facility. It’s believed that the person was not scheduled to be a passenger on the flight.
“Alaska Airways flight 1367 from Las Vegas to Portland was making ready for take-off when the pilot seen a person advancing in the direction of the plane. The pilots notified the tower,” a press release from Alaska Airways reads. “Legislation enforcement was dispatched and in a position to apprehend the person. Our friends and workers are secure and we’re working with legislation enforcement. The aircraft has returned to the gate for a full inspection.”
The aircraft was scheduled to depart at 12:30 PM however was unable to take flight till 4:48 PM.
