On Tuesday morning, Travis Barker and Kourtney Kardashian went to seek medical attention.
It appears that they drove to see a doctor after Travis experienced severe abdominal pain.
Doctors concluded that Travis needed urgent attention, and an ambulance took him to Cedars-Sinai.
Kourtney followed closely behind the ambulance so that she could join him at the hospital.
Clearly, this was a serious health crisis.
It was only after Alabama Barker shared a quickly-deleted glimpse on her Instagram Story that fans knew that he was conscious.
Initially, many imagined that Travis’ hospitalization stemmed from clotting issues.
Though he has taken many steps to maintain his health, the drummer did have issues with clotting years ago.
However, reports say that this ailment is something else.
As we previously reported, Travis was suffering from excruciating abdominal pain.
The pain was so intense that he struggled to walk.
Only on Wednesday did the world learn that Travis suffers from pancreatitis.
Pancreatitis’ primary causes are gall stone blockages or heavy alcohol use.
However, there are other causes — including medications, infections, and cancers.
We hope that the most common treatments — IV fluids, pain medications, and antibiotics — can bring Travis a swift recovery.
Just one month ago, Travis and Kourtney married in their third wedding ceremony.
The nuptials took place in a luxurious and historical Italian castle.
Only rarely do married couples encounter “in sickness and in health” challenges so early into a marriage.
